Bradley Hopper is Head of the Coin Department at the specialist auctioneer Noonans of Mayfair (Auctioneer). He is the author of several articles of Anglo-Saxon Numismatics, and recipient of the Royal Numismatic Society’s Parkes Weber Prize.
Bradley’s interest in numismatics began at university when he carried out research on ancient cultures. This quickly developed into a passion for early monetisation and the wonderfully diverse and artistic field of archaic Greek coinage.
Since joining DNW, now Noonans, Bradley has expanded his interest to cover the ancient and medieval coinages of Britain. In recent years he’s spent a great deal of time meeting detectorists, valuing their numismatic finds and when appropriate, helping them to sell through auction.
He travels widely and regularly attends coin fairs throughout the country.
