Choral Evensong at Malmesbury Abbey

A special 100 year Celebration of the life of Sir Charles Villiers Stanford
Charles Villiers Stanford was one of the leading musicians of his generation and had a profound effect on the development and history of English music as a performer, conductor, composer, teacher and writer. Stanford composed a substantial number of works for the organ and he left a wonderful legacy of anthems, motets, Morning, Evening and Holy Communion settings for the Anglican Church of many of which are performed and used in churches and cathedrals around the world today including Malmesbury Abbey.
